A tasting tour among an infinite variety of produce awaits you, from fresh wild berries to aged grappa, from mountain meadow cheese to cured meats, prepared with centuries old recipes...
Cows are one of Trentino’s treasures and thanks to the vast meadows, natural feed, traditional and non intensive breeding, they produce a high quality milk: taken directly in the mountain meadows or in highly technological dairies, the milk turns into fantastic tasting cheese, different from valley to valley... each to be sampled and enjoyed...
Trentino’s distilled liquors, are synonymous to tradition and elegance: over the course of centuries past, side products of the vineyards, like pomace have turned - thanks to the abilities of the Master distillers - into an example of true local characteristics. Clear... but with character.
No other product more than honey represents the authenticity and wholesome goodness of the territory where it is produced. Val di Non boasts a rich variety of typical field and woodland flowers, from which excellent varieties of honey are produced in small, artisan laboratories. The honey obtained from the thousands mountain flowers has a distinctive intense colour and is especially appreciated if tasted combined with Trentingrana cheese. The honey obtained from the very rare rhododendrums, which bloom in June above 2000m height, is very special and is ideal combined with the smoked ricotta cheese from the mountain meadows.
Trentino’s wines offer an infinite variety of tastes and scents, and their production is based on human knowledge, but they are the embodiment of the surrounding nature’s generosity: different types of microclimate produce different wines... and all deserve to be tasted.
In the distant past people discovered the best methods to preserve meat: smoked, dried, appropriately worked and spiced, they became delicious and very appreciated dishes. In Trentino, thanks to the many historical-geographical influences, people’s dexterity and the best quality of meat, we can enjoy a vast variety of sausages and cured meats... A single slice quickly calls to be followed by another...!
Zelten, Pane di molche, Strudel, Brazedel... The variety of desserts, sweets and baked products that are typical of the different valleys of Trentino is incredible. There is even pasta.
Starting from the excellent quality of the produce, we cannot obtain but delicious products! Our producers have developed the art of transformation to its best, by producing: jams, cider, vinegar, mustards, juice and so much more!
If well-being comes from nature and nature in Trentino is so generous, then the natural consequence is the great variety of relaxing, toning, energizing and hydrating products. From mountain herb teas like melissa, mint, mauve and achillea to the spices to enrich food’s flavor. Not to mention the great choice of products for the body made of small fruits, milk, propolis, honey and officinal plants.
Thanks to the purity of Trentino’s spring water, our territory stands out for the great quality of its craft beer, often made of 0km carbon footprint ingredients: like the olives from Riva del Garda, apples from Val di Non, the lupin from Anterivo or the millefiori honey from our mountains.
